Volunteer Opportunities

We currently need the following supports:

Administration - Do you like putting things in order? Find satisfaction in a beautiful spreadsheet? Want to call people about an upcoming event? Recruit more volunteers? There is lots to do, and you get a deep look and experience in the behind-the-scenes work of Greenest City.

Communications - Perhaps you are a writer with a love for the environment, you like searching out new and interesting green technology, or you have a passion for environmental and community issues. We need people to support our newsletter, making sure we’re sharing with our community what great work is happening.

Photography - Multiple photographers are needed for events. We have a camera, but most of our images are from mobile phones. Help us use images to tell the world our impact!

Gardening - We could always use volunteers to help with garden maintenance.

Good Food Market - During our Market season, we need volunteers to help us set up, run, and clean up the Parkdale Good Food Market.

For businesses and organizations, please be aware that we have a limited capacity to accommodate large groups and a donation may be requested.
